Bio

HARRIET HAWKINS is the founding Co-Director of the Centre for GeoHumanities at Royal Holloway, University of London and the Director of the Technē AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership. Harriet’s research focuses on the intersections of geography, art, creativity, aesthetics, and the imagination. They explore how creative practices can contribute to critical contemporary issues – such as the current and future use of underground spaces, and engagements with climate change. Harriet’s current research project, THINK DEEP, is funded by a five-year European Research Council consolidator grant.
