Scott Myles was born in Dundee and studied at the city’s Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, from 1993-97. His work is not limited to a singular medium, instead he moves between sculpture, drawing, photography, printing and performance art. He is interested in the business of making art, modes of display and ideas concerning repetition of original gestures and the appropriation of processes. Recent solo exhibitions include Spiral Bound, Meyer Riegger, Berlin (2015); Potlatch, Maison Lafayette, Paris (2014) and Mummies, The Modern Institute, Glasgow (2014). He lives and works in Glasgow.
