SHELL LIKE

SHELL LIKE is a collaborative project led by writers Amy Pettifer and Jennifer Boyd, which creates a dedicated space for sound work and focuses on the importance of listening – particularly as a group – as a vital social and political act. To date they have programmed listening events featuring both existing and newly commissioned audio works by artists and writers, for Guest Projects, Artsadmin and LUX Moving Image, London; Sidney Cooper Gallery, Canterbury; and Eastside Projects, Birmingham. Extra-curricular activities include a 7-month takeover of online exhibition space in sound ilyd.nu, and a 1-year residency in collaboration with ilyd at Raven Row, London.
