Joe Moss is an artist and trained mosaicist currently based in The London School of Mosaic, who works across sculpture and video to create assemblages of contemporary material which position internet noise alongside craft techniques. Moss brings together different fictional registers, playing with hierarchies of the materially real, intersubjectively real, fictional and fantastic. His output ranges from solo presentations to radio production to collaborative exhibition-making.
Selected for the New Contemporaries award 2023, his recent projects include Supersublime (2023) at Giant Gallery, UK, Model Village (2023) at NN Contemporary, UK and The London Bronze Editions Foundry Fellowship (2023). The collaborative project An Heart, made with Digital Anthropologist Jane Davies, is held in the Museum of Data. Between 2019-2022 Joe Moss was part of the Conditions Studio programme. Joe graduated from the Slade Media MFA in June 2024.
