Siân Newlove–Drew (b. 1996) is a London based artist, working across sculpture, installation, painting and writing. Often using sculptural, encountered objects – selected because they are commanding, active and have a charge in an encounter, the artist re-addresses, and re-stages them to inhabit a space with an internal and external presence and as live containers of emotion and materiality, facilitatory to glowing sites of processing, power, and personal discovery.
She is interested in the structure of feeling, between what is succinct and arranged and what is mess, liquescent and energised. Led by feelings of specialness, femininity, involvement, and overwhelm; the making is inherently enjoyable and alive.

Siân Newlove-Drew also shares a collaborative practice with Billy Crosby. The duo creates work through the prism of their romantic relationship, with wonderment, cuteness, and feelings of specialness serving as tenets in their world.
